The obviousness of that statement is only preceded by the suggestion that the reader has no knowledge of the Internet as a medium to communicate. My homepage for Safari is Google News and on the top right hand of the page, I have customized Technology news to appear in nine instances of “major” news. Most of the time I chuckle at what Google filters to me (Beer Less Popular than iPod?), but it surprises me that these news items appear atop so many different sources within the amount of times during a day I click on my homepage. News travels fast.

Another related item comes in the form of a rather interesting vengence story that, while not written well, is bemusing in its own right. It demonstrates the power of online communications and the evil of MySpace (only when abused by idiots, though).
